Howto:tag
1. How should I tag when I upload?
Tags should contain only the visual & factual elements in the image and not anything subject to opinion. For example, if you see oranges in the post use the
orange tag. But if you want to tag the image
sexy because you think it is, think again.
If you do not know how to tag a post, tag it as
tagme. If you see a post that has been well tagged, remove the
tagme tag.
If your tag contains multiple words seperated by spaces then you should replaces the spaces with underscores "_". For example the tag maria-sama ga miteru should become maria-sama_ga_miteru.
If you want to get an idea on what is good or bad tagging, click on a few posts and lurk more to get a general idea of what is going on. Since the site is pretty new most Wiki articles for the tags do not exist. If you feel creative feel free to write your tag articles. You can access a Wiki tag article by clicking on the ? to the left of each tag.
Be warned that intentionally tagging inappropriately or maliciously removing correct tags is considered vandalism.
A simple example. For
this image. You see that the girl wears shorts and tanktop. You can use the
shorts and
tanktop tags. She has brown hair so you can use the
brown_hair tag.
Interesting tags you should know
- anime for japanese art or art with characteristic anime drawing style. This tag helps if someone wants to view only japanese art, or if someone wants to view only western art. They can use anime and -anime on their search respectively.
- furry for art portraying anthropomorphic furry creatures.
- artist_request when the image misses a tag with the name of the artist you should add this tag.
- source_request when the image has no source.
2. Tickling specific tags
Don't forget the theme of the site. When uploading a tickling related image you
must use some special simple tags. The logic goes like this: Let's suppose an image where a man tickles a woman. Then you need to add the
m/f tag. On the left side of the slash you put the ticklers and on the right side the ticklees.
With the same logic, if the picture has a man tickling two women you need to add the
m/ff tag. And if it's two women tickling one man you need to add the
ff/m tag. Simple isn't it?
Sometimes the tickling might be done by something unknown or a machine or you simply cannot tell the gender. Then you can use the 'u' on the tags as in unknown or 'can't tell'. For example if a woman is tickled by a machine you should use the
u/f. If there is a harem of many different men and women tickling each other you could use
u/u.
If the ticklers or ticklees are too many and you don't want to enter a crazy tag like mmmmmfffff/f then remember to use the word 'many'. For example if 7 people are tickling one female you could use
many/f
These are tickling specific tags and they should not be used for any other type of image.
If the image portraits actual tickling then you should use the
tickling tag. If it's just implied then you can omit it or use the
you_gonna_get_tickled tag.
You also need to add a tag specifying the spot that the ticklee is tickled. So if a man is tickling a woman's armpits you should use the tags
m/f armpits.
Of course there will be times where you need to add certain body part tags that are not tickled. If in our previous example the woman was barefoot you could also use the tag
feet even though she is not tickled there. This is not considered a mistake and you are encouraged to do it for the shake of tagging the image as accurately as possible.
Interesting tags you should know
- tickle_hands for those classic pictures that portrait the victim to be tickled by many hands, magic hands, machine hands, gloves... you get the idea.
- tickle_sounds for those pictures that have written tickle sounds like "tickle tickle" or kocho (こちょ) in japanese etc.
- you_gonna_get_tickled when the victim is about to get tickled or tickling is implied.
